# What kind of games shouldn't I make with Sticky (guidelines)?

Sticky currently has a 12+ rating on the App Store and games published in Sticky are required to comply with that age rating. So avoid violence & gore, drugs, suicide, drugs, sex, real-money gambling or betting. Within reason, you can use the Sticky AI Game Maker tool to make higher-rated games that you publish elsewhere. In future we may build parental controls so that different age-rated games can be offered on the web (again, within reason). Deception, fraud, hate - all prohibited, obviously. Copyright is also an issue. Fanart/fan-games are not prohibited but references to third-party IP may limit your game's visibility or eligibility for earnings and increases the risk your game will be removed. It is your responsibility to stay within fair-use. Using the names / icons / characters of existing games directly is not allowed. We reserve the right not to approve any game that we think is a problem.
